CP Blandon and points east offer many trackside photo opportunities as the main line runs along the Blandon-Fleetwood road for 8 miles. CP Blandon is where the double track heading west turns single between CP Blandon and CP West Laurel
On any given day you would expect to see approx. 40 trains past CP Blandon. Early morning can yield a good concentration of train density however photo opportunities at this time are limited at CP Blandon to westbound traffic in the afternoon and eastbound traffic in the morning.
CP Blandon is located along the Blandon-Fleetwood road. Take route 222 business north to Blandon-Fleetwood road (a mile past Wal-Mart) and make right. There are numerous grade crossings along this road to get photo's. See map for directions.
