South Reading Brewery is where trains heading into and out of Reading yard will pass by. South Reading will occasionally afford a stopped train waiting to enter the yard or some main line action sent through Reading off of the main line.
On any given day you would expect to see approx. 10 trains past South Reading. This location can provide some nice photo opportunities if a train is in the area.
South Reading Brewery is located off of Bingaman street right after you go under railroad tunnel. Take route 422 east to route 222 exit. Make left at light and go over bridge. Stay on Bingaman street until after you go under railroad tunnel. Walk up bank to tracks. See map for directions.
